Collecting and Returning a rental car at Valencia airport :-

Most of the Car Hire Companies do not have a desk at the airport terminal building, but Avis, Hertz and Europcar do. But ALL provide their customers with a prompt bus service to the nearby facilities in Manises Polygon, where the rental car fleets are located.

This bus collects and delivers the customers outside Departures (Salidas) to their facilities in the Manises Polygon (and the other way around), which is less than five minutes away.

On your confirmation voucher it explains this, so whether you arrive by air or to the airport by taxi, for example, you should stand just outside the airport in front of Departures and await the suppliers particular shuttle bus.

If your intention is to collect your rental car at Valencia airport even when you do not arrive by air , as most times offices at the airports offer better rates than other city locations - then you can head directly to their offices in Manises Polygon.

When returning a car, the procedure is always the same: you go to the office and they will deliver you to the airport if necessary.

The Valencia Metro Line 5 serves directly the airport and offers regular trains to the city centre and the westerly harbour.

When driving your rental car around the airport area you must be aware of the several works currently in progress along the roads A3 and V11/ V30.

Either if you drive along the A7 from Northen locations (as France, Barcelona, etc.) or Southern ones (as Alicante, Murcia,...), there is no longer need to cross Valencia town and be stuck in traffic: the part of the A7 that surrounds Valencia is finally open and its speed limit is 100km/hour.

If you need to fill the tank of your rental car following the conditions of the FULL/FULL fuel policy, then you must do it immediately before going to the rental car supplier office.

As you can see from our MAP there are many petrol stations at Manises Polygon. i.e. just a few meters from most of the car suppliers there is a Repsol and also Galp petrol stations.
